Canadian Cancer SocietyAt the Canadian Cancer Society, we’re counting down to Daffodil Days! We are looking for volunteers to champion Daffodil Days in Port Aux Basque. Right now, there are no volunteers selling daffodils in your community. Volunteering for Daffodil Days could be as simple as calling your family and friends to see if they would like to buy daffodils. The flowers would arrive the first week of April to be given to those who bought them. The money raised from the sale of daffodils supports our programs and services, like Daffodil Place, that eases the impact of cancer in our province. People from your community affected by cancer stayed at Daffodil place for 40 nights last year. The cost associated with a one night stay at Daffodil Place is $100. Join the fight against cancer in your community and volunteer by contacting Sarah at 709-757-8536 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
