Our 2 Astrolabes, dated from the early 1600's were discovered near Channel-Port aux Basques. They are both in mint condition and in working order. A very rare and valuable find for Newfoundland and all of Canada.

TOWN OF CHANNEL - PORT AUX BASQUES

PUBLIC NOTICE


The Town of Channel - Port aux Basques wishes to advise that a Boil Water Advisory is in effect from the Port Club down to the Channel area and in the Mouse Island area. All residents are advised to boil their drinking water until further notice.

There will also be an interruption in water services between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Tuesday July 18th in these areas.

Council advises this is a precautionary Boil Order and apologizes for any inconvenience.
