Our 2 Astrolabes, dated from the early 1600's were discovered near Channel-Port aux Basques. They are both in mint condition and in working order. A very rare and valuable find for Newfoundland and all of Canada.

75th Anniversary S.S. Caribou
As part of the 75th anniversary of the sinking of the S.S. Caribou we are seeking art work from the community. If you are an inspiring artist we would like for you to draw a picture of the SS Caribou. The deadline for submissions will be October 6. Open to all ages. All submissions will be on display at the Royal Canadian Legion and the winner will be announced at our dinner on October 14. Prizes to be won.
